The short answer

Alchademics:Abyssal Realm is an in-development 3D adventure RPG about gathering, brewing and fighting across a procedurally generated world roughly 100 km wide. The free build covers the core game; Pro costs $2.99 and adds larger housing, bigger bags, cave clearing, boosted gathering and a daily chest. Click Play to test the browser demo.

What is Alchademics:Abyssal Realm?

Alchademics:Abyssal Realm is an in-development 3D adventure RPG from developer Alchademics. The premise is direct: an alchemist works from a simple camp toward legendary gear, a personal home and the deepest dungeon floors, using gathering, brewing, crafting and combat along the way.

The setting is a procedurally generated open world roughly 100 km across, with forests, hills, rivers, lakes and coastlines. A day and night cycle runs across that landscape, and caves hold coal, iron, gold and crystal seams plus rare treasure chests.

Publication is set for 27 October 2026. The build is playable in an HTML5 frame, with versions for Windows, macOS, Linux and Android, plus a free browser demo and a free core game. Pro costs $2.99 and adds optional extras rather than replacing the core loop.

Pro expands that structure without changing the core goal. It adds Cave Breaker clearing for collapsed caves and opens Pro caves, moves the house footprint from 10 by 10 metres to 20 by 20 metres, grows the satchel to 36 slots and the gear bag to 50, adds extra gathering yield and faster regrowth, and includes the Philosopher's Stone constellation plus a daily chest.

How to play

The loop starts with gathering. Chop trees, mine seams, dig clay and pan for gold, then turn those materials into better equipment and a stronger base. A clay forge handles ore smelting, while the Alchemy Bench turns monster drops into potions and elixirs.

Combat uses a sword, a bow and four alchemy spells: fire flasks, frost salts, chain lightning and healing. Tools and weapons improve through tiers, and enchantments add bonus stats. A companion follows into battle, which helps when raids, portal bosses and guarded outposts arrive.

Progression runs to level 25 across two quest chapters. The broader route is flexible: explore for materials, clear caves, build a Portable House, or push into the endless Dungeon. The daily free Dungeon ticket gives a regular reason to test a deeper floor, while outposts with level 20–30 garrisons mark harder territory.

Controls

On PC, movement uses WASD. The Q, E, R and F keys cast the four spells, while the satchel and journal have dedicated keys. Phone play uses an on-screen joystick and buttons, so the layout changes with the device rather than relying on a keyboard.

Android players install an APK and need Android 7.0 or newer. Upgrading to Pro means installing the Pro APK over the free build without uninstalling first, because the save carries over. PC Pro arrives as a zip that runs offline after opening index.html.

The free demo also runs in Safari on iPhone and iPad, but Pro does not run on iOS yet. Progress saves automatically on the device. Before uninstalling the Android app, use the export save option to keep a backup.

Tips for your first run

A first session goes more smoothly with a plan for materials, travel and risk. The world is large, so early wandering should have a purpose: locate useful seams, set a base and learn which fights are worth taking.

Start close to camp. Chop, mine, dig clay and pan for gold until the Alchemy Bench and clay forge have steady input. Then choose a direction on the map, mark useful teleport pads and return with enough material to upgrade a tool or weapon. The goal is not to clear everything at once but to build a reliable route from gathering to brewing to combat.

  • Mark teleport pads and map markers; pads appear every 500 m, which shortens return trips.
  • Use the Alchemy Bench and build a clay forge before chasing distant loot; potions, smelted ingots and tier upgrades feed every part of the loop.
  • Place a Portable House early, then add a Storage Room with 14 chests so gathered materials do not clog the satchel.
  • Treat level 20–30 outposts as later targets and use the daily free Dungeon ticket to practice floors without spending a limited resource.
  • Keep the companion close during raids; the ally follows into battle.

Content and replayability

The world offers several reasons to keep moving. Forests, hills, rivers, lakes and coastlines break up exploration; caves add coal, iron, gold and crystal seams; and rare chests reward detours. Merchants, Blacksmiths and the Grand Market give settlements a role beyond scenery.

Combat content includes monster raids, portal bosses fought in their own realm and 50 outposts held by level 20–30 garrisons. The endless Dungeon climbs floor after floor until a run ends, with one free ticket each day. That structure supports short sessions and longer pushes.

Gear progression has depth. Armor ranges from common to legendary, each piece carries stats and traits, and the fusion station feeds one piece into another to pass traits and raise it to level 20. Glow crystals add light or rarity upgrades, while artifacts include Glide Wings and a Rocket Pack. Constellations provide permanent bonuses, and housing can grow from a Portable House to specialized rooms.

Presentation and performance

The presentation leans on a broad 3D landscape rather than a single dungeon corridor. Forests, hills, rivers, lakes and coastlines share space with a full day and night cycle, and the camera can survey the world through a zoomable map. Caves and dark spaces give glow crystals and illuminated armor a practical visual role.

Visual progression is part of the appeal: armor climbs from common to legendary, artifacts include Glide Wings and a Rocket Pack, and glow crystals can make a set cast light in dark places. The companion remains visible in battle, tying the presentation to the combat loop.

Delivery is split between an HTML5 browser frame, an offline PC zip for Windows, macOS and Linux, and an Android APK. Saves are automatic on the device, so the technical side emphasizes quick access.

Who should play it

This is a good fit for players who like alchemy systems with a real job to do. Potions come from monster drops at the Alchemy Bench, ore becomes ingots at a clay forge, and gear improves through tiers, enchantments and fusion. Anyone who enjoys turning gathered clutter into a stronger character will find a clear loop.

Dungeon crawler fans get an endless Dungeon with a daily free ticket, portal bosses and 50 guarded outposts. Open-world explorers get a roughly 100 km procedural landscape, caves, teleport pads every 500 m and a zoomable map. Base builders can place a Portable House and add storage, blacksmith and alchemy rooms.

The in-development status matters. Online play is planned for later, and Pro does not run on iOS yet, so players who need those features should wait. Those comfortable with a browser demo or Android/PC build can start with the free core game and decide whether the $2.99 Pro extras are worthwhile.
