Engines

Games made with Web (HTML5)

Unity, Godot, GDevelop, Phaser and custom HTML5 builds all reach the same tab. Browse the games we have tested by the engine their developer listed.

Why engine pages help

Engine pages group games by the tool the developer says they used. They are useful when you want a particular feel (Unity 3D, Godot pixel art, tiny HTML5 builds) and they give each game another internal link.

Frequently asked questions

How do you know which engine a game uses?

We use the engine the developer lists on the game page. If they do not list one, we label the game HTML5 / custom web engine instead of guessing.

Does the engine affect whether a game runs?

It can. Unity and Godot games usually need WebGL and a little more memory; small HTML5 games often start faster. Every published game is loaded in a real browser before it goes live.
